**Please read the following information before you come for your Saturday Road Test Exam**

We do Saturday Road Tests with the Civilian Examiner at our school in Belchertown (3 Stadler St.) and in Springfield (18 Gaucher St). The rental fee is $80 (non refundable) which includes the $20 registry convenience fee, which will have to be paid at the time of booking. If you are under the age of 18, you need to be certified by the Registry of Motor Vehicles in order to schedule a test. Anyone who took driver’s education at a different driving school is welcomed to do a Saturday road test at our school.

You must bring the following things with you the day of the exam:

• Learner's permit
  
• Have a completed road test application signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  
• If you have a B restriction on your learner’s permit you must have your corrective lenses or your contacts.

If you are under 18 years of age, the application must be signed by a parent, guardian, child guardian division, or boarding school headmaster. If the person signing the application is not a parent, proper documentation must be shown at the time of the road test to prove that the person is qualified to sign.

Road tests have to be scheduled at least two weeks prior to the exam date.

Be prepared and on time for the road test. If you are not prepared or you are late, you may not be examined (you will be rejected).

If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than a two week notice, you will be required to pay the road test fee for the cancelled or rescheduled appointment as well as pay a road test fee for the newly scheduled appointment.

Only you, the sponsor, the examiner and an interpreter, if authorized* are allowed in the vehicle during the road test exam.

You are not allowed to use your personal vehicle for a Saturday Road Test.

• A state of emergency has been declared throughout the state or in the region your road exam may have to be rescheduled
• The examiner cancels exams due to scheduling or safety reasons

Prepayment of your Drivers License:

Remember if you prepay your license fee your permit automatically becomes a license after you pass. To pay with a credit or debit card you need to call 1-800-858-3926 a week before your Saturday Road Test, if you go into the branch and pay, make sure you bring your paper receipt with you. If you do not prepay, your permit will remain a permit until you go to any of the Registry Branches to pay your license fee. You will have to retake your road test if you don't pay the $70 license fee within 30 days, after you pass. Examiner’s can refuse to sign permit s as a license.

When you schedule your road test with the driving school, make sure you get a confirmation number.

Waiting period the day of the test can vary depending on the examiner you may be there longer than expected, we appreciate your patience .
